Do you have an idea for a drive? Let’s talk.

Looking for ideas for a drive?

Here are some examples of drives done in our community, for inspiration.

  • Youth Drive

It all begins with an idea. And the youth of our community are visionaries.

An example of a youth based drive is the Deodorant Drive: the need for deodorant was seen. These teens reached out to GRACE and confirmed this was a need within the GRACE community. The drive was planned out, collected and then distributed to GRACE.

  • Educational Drives

The Pingry School Garden team worked through the summer on what made their garden grow. Composting works! And their bounty was donated to GRACE through the summer months during Thursday distribution.

  • Halloween Costume Drive

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

  • Small Business Drives

Local small businesses help to support the GRACE annual Community Baby Shower, filling diaper bags with toys, clothing, and baby essentials for GRACE mom’s-to-be.

  • School Drives

Summit Green Schools coordinated a Reusable Bag drive across all five elementary schools, Lawton C. Johnson Summit Middle School, and Summit High School, collecting hundreds of reusable bags for GRACE community members.

  • Cause for Paws

The local chapter of Cause of Paws, collects dog treats, food, and toys for GRACE community members.

  • Corporate Drives

When September rolls around and it’s Back to School time, our community members can rely on the Summit Health Cares annual backpack and school supply drive. GRACE is one of several recipients of their drive efforts.

  • Winter Coat Drive

When August approaches, GRACE Board Member Ilyse DiChiara begins thinking about winter coats. With much community support, she works to collects hundreds of new winter coats to be distributed to GRACE community members.
